We are happy to announce that starting March 6th 2021, Pathways will begin to once again have in person worship service. It goes without saying that the health and safety of our members is our top priority so we are taking the following steps in order to ensure that our re-opening goes smoothly.
1. We require everyone to wear face masks that cover both the nose and mouth.
2. We require everyone to socially distance six feet from one another. In order to ensure this, we will have ushers who will escort you to your seat. And we will also have ushers who will also usher you out by row.
3. We will require everyone to 'register' for each worship service (at least in the beginning) from our website to make sure that we do not go over 70 which would be a maximum number of folks who would fit the Covid guidelines. Please register using the button above.
4. We will have folks "check you in" from the registrations when you come in.
5. We will also have everyone sign in (Per United Methodist Church) for contact tracing in case someone gets sick.
6. We will have designated volunteers who will sanitize the microphones between each phase of our worship service.
7. We will have volunteers sanitize the common areas of the sanctuary after our service.
Of course, we will continue live-streaming our service. Please click the following link -> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqDlZl-6jKGFZFOL9jOBEVw to go to our Youtube channel where you can view our current and past livestreams.
Lastly and most importantly, we are in need of volunteers! With the addional steps being taken above we need volunteers to check people in, to usher people out, sanitizing various things, and much more. Please reach out to Pastor Karen Lewis if you are able to volunteer.
We can't always anticipate what will happen in the future! With the recent rise of COVID cases in Minnesota and in order to protect our members we had to make the diffcult decision to temporarily put our regular Sabbath church in-person service on hold until the end of 2020. The good news is that we will be live streaming our service, every Sabbath from the United Methodist location, starting on November 28th. The easiest way to access the live stream is to go to our YouTube channel at this link - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqDlZl-6jKGFZFOL9jOBEVw and then click on the livestream video. This will only show up on our channel when we go live just before our 11 a.m (CST) worship service.
The situation may change rapidly so check back often for updates. Hope to see everyone virtually Sabbath morning!
God is good and His timing is perfect! Today marks the first day that we are able to worship inside a building and while its cold outside, its toasty here inside Pathways Church. If you haven't been following the news, after months of searching for a new building, we were finally able to find a facility to rent. United Methodist Church of Osseo have graciusly allowed us to share their facility on certain days of the week.
Our youth praise team took the stage and pastor Nick Wanowich followed up with a great message for everyone. It was a special Sabbath with many people attending - some that we have not seen in a long time! There are many things going on at Pathways and a lot of that is happening behind the scenes. We are working on getting live streaming setup through YouTube. Our small groups have several events planned for the future so check back on website for more details. However, we must not forget that Covid still exists and we are asking everyone that is attending to wear masks and practice social distancing. Join us next Sabbath at 11am for our praise and worship service!
What a way to end the summer! We have used the Elm Creek park as our temporary place of worship because our regular facility was too small to gather due to Covid 19. God has been good and has blessed Pathways with good weather every Saturday that we were at the park to worship, even holding back the rain one Sabbath to give us just enough time to finish our service. Last Sabbath marked the last time we were at the park and our small group of children led the service with songs of praise and worship. It's amazing watching these kids grow up and start leading out at church. Everyone really enjoyed their music!
Now with the weather getting colder and colder Pathways has been searching for an enclosed place to worship. After countless phone calls and many meetings we are excited about a new location that God has led us to. The new location is at 16 2nd Ave SE, Osseo, MN 55369 and is the home to United Methodist Church of Osseo. They have agreed to let us rent their facility during certain days of the week. October 3rd will mark our first Sabbath at the new location so we hope to see everyone there. What about our current facility? We will have more details to follow but for now Pathways will keep the current facility and use it as a youth center while also worshiping at the new facility in Osseo. God is good!
